Florentino Garguilo, Author & Artist, is best described by his name alone: unique, dynamic, and unafraid to challenge the norm. His passion for creativity can be traced to middle school when he finally had the license to embrace his creative side. Today, he treats every aspect of his life as art. From the paint on his canvas and the words on his page, to the care in his cooking, lawn care, and professional endeavors, Florentino strives to make everything he does worthy of being called a masterpiece.
Florentino specializes in acrylic art, digital art, and writing, while also creating music compositions and photography.
His work often explores themes such as the world’s deeper realities, the pride he takes in his Italian-American heritage, the intersection of subjectivity and objectivity, and the true definition of “art.”
Florentino is also the founder and owner of “Creative Consulting,” which was created to further spread the love of creativity on a community level, the host of the podcast ‘La Vita’, which uses his background in psychology and coaching to empower people, and the founder of his alma mater’s first-ever inclusive creative arts club.
He is a Summa Cum Laude graduate with a degree in Applied Psychology, and is a dedicated professional in his field beyond the arts. When not immersed in his creative process, he can be found listening to (almost) every type of music, getting his hands dirty on an outdoor project, lining up his suits and bold outfits, volunteering at local food banks and community organizations, and (his favorite) spending time with his family.
